1. Learn to ACT: Online Course
This online course provides information on identifying warning signs of suicide and how to effectively respond to someone who is in a suicidal crisis.
Online course: 40 Minutes

2. First Responder Training Program for Suicide Prevention

This comprehensive training aims to sensitize the participants to the complexities of suicide and equip them with the necessary skills to address and prevent suicide-related concerns within their communities.

Please note that this program only trains you as an immediate crisis responder and not as a counseling professional.

Available both online and offline.

Who can apply:

Community Workers, Educators, Counsellors.

Participants who can commit to 3 training sessions and fortnightly supervision for 2 months post program completion.

3. Learn to ACT: Offline Workshop
This offline talk is an interactive session to learn about recognising warnings signs of suicide, risk factors, protective factors, and how to effectively respond to someone in a suicidal crisis. The talk is for anyone who is 18+ years of age.
Duration: 2 Hrs

4. Suicide Prevention Education for Students
This talk is designed specifically for students to help them understand depression and identify behaviours and thoughts that may indicate suicidality. This information helps them to understand their own behaviour or someone around them who is struggling and requires help.
Duration: 2 Hrs
Age limit: 14+

5. Suicide Prevention Education for Educators and Other School or College Personnel
This is an offline training for educators, faculty and staff in schools and colleges, to help them understand risk factors, identify warning signs of suicide, and equip them with strategies to help students struggling with mental health concerns.
Duration: 2 Hrs

6. Suicide Prevention Education for Parents
This offline talk educates parents to understand changes in behaviour, thoughts, and feelings when children and adolescents experience suicidality. Information on how to identify signs of suicide in children and how to find help in a crisis are focused on.
Duration: 2 Hrs

7. Suicide Prevention Education for employees
The workforce in an organization is guided to understand the causes, warning signs, and risk factors of suicide and what needs to be done to help someone in a crisis and save lives.
Duration: 2 Hrs

8. SOS Soldier for College Students
This offline program assists colleges in educating and training a selective group of students to identify warning signs of suicide, skills of active listening, effectively responding to a suicidal peer, and guiding them to the professional.
Training: 8 Hrs (4 sessions of 2 hrs each)

9. SOS Worker for School Counsellors
This is an offline training program in Suicide Prevention and Management for School Counsellors. The program will educate participants on identifying and communicating with at-risk students, strategies to help students who are suicidal, working with parents in the context of suicide, and the protocols to follow in the aftermath of a suicide in a school.

Training: 12 Hrs (2 weekends for 3 hrs each day)

10. Documentary screening on Teenage Depression
In this program, we showcase a documentary that highlights the need to understand depression, its effects on teenagers, the warning signs, and what can be done to help them. This screening is available for students, parents, teachers, and school authorities.
